Birth of a real American Hero Jul. 22nd, 2011 @ 10:40 am
I just wanted to put in a side note here to mention that today is the day that Captain America opens in theaters all over America. I am going to see it tonight with my cousin Donald Wayne. Today is also the birthday of USMC Sgt. Travis D. Pfister who was married to my niece Jessica. He gave his life for his country in combat over Karmah, Iraq on wednesday, Feb 7, 2007 as a tail-gunner while flying on helicopter missions into the hot zones to pick up the dead and wounded while under fire. His helicopter was hit by an RPG missile instantly killing him and his other 8 crew members. I went to his funeral in Hemet, S.California. It was the first time I had ever flown on a plane and the first time I'd ever went to Califonia. I'll never forget that funeral and how it changed my life. Trav was a good friend and family member. I am so very proud to call him my nephew. He is truely a REAL ALL-AMERICAN HERO! .... and to commemorate his sacrifice for God and country, and to celebrate his life, I am going to wear my Travis D. Pfister purple fox unit memorial T-shirt with a picuture of him in his USMC uniform pinned to the front of it while I go to see the Captain America movie tonight. God bless you Trav. Your sacrifice was not in vain and we will never forget you or what you did.

its been a while Jul. 22nd, 2011 @ 10:22 am
since my last post alot has happened, but nothing really amazing as far as my own life is concerned. that is, nothing except for watching my children grow older each passing year. Now my son is 13 and my daughter is about to turn 9. I am now 40 and life is really sucking for me right now. I am about to take a job as a school bus driver. A job that pays almost nothing and has no benefits, or any hope of retirement. Where did I go wrong?! How can I have come to stoop this low in 40 years on this mud-ball? My little brother now works for cartoon network in Atlanta, Ga. designing video game characters and animating them (such as project exonaut) who's commercials I'm sure you may have seen on cartoon network. Yep. He designed and animated everything you see there. My other brother is a successful company man up north working for a water filtering service company. my sisters both married rich men, one owns the family business (a butcher shop) and the other is the CEO of a major corporation in Ohio. Me.... I live in Deer Lodge in a double-wide trailer on my aging parent's farm taking care of them and helping them keep the farm up as best I can.... and driving a school bus. God I'm such a loser. I'm so tired of hearing myself say that, but it's TRUE! I'm bound by the chains of my own making. Family holds me here, and here, there is no work or opportunity to better myself. My wife is going to school online and doing quite well. I have no doubt she will graduate at the top of her class and then perhaps leave me as soon as she gets financially stable enough to do so. Meanwhile, I'm forced to sit here and watch my life pass me by. ..... I had so many dreams when I was younger of how I wanted my life to be. So many crazy ideas in my head. But I've finally learned the painful truth of what being a hapless dreamer will get you....... pain, regret, heartache and disappointment. I want to change my destiny, but i just don't know how. I wish someone could understand how alone and forsaken I feel right now.

Where were you that day? Sep. 11th, 2009 @ 02:57 pm
I was walking down the hall to my art class at Roan State. As I neared the classroom door, it was open and I heard the teacher telling the class what she had heard on the radio in the back room and she was switching on the TV in the classroom. I was not believing my ears at first. Then I sat there and watched it all unfold and I started getting sick to my stomach. After the 2nd tower fell, I left class and called Tracey. It took me several minutes to convince her I wasn't kidding....until she turned on the tv and saw it. Then I told her to call her mom and lock the doors, I was on my way home. Then a few seconds later, my cell phone connection was lost and I couldn't call her back because the lines were tied up. I couldn't stop thinking about all those people who died in those towers and at the pentagon, and their children. I listened to the rest of it on the radio on the way home. I remember thinking "My kids will never know the same America I knew as a kid." Thats what got me!

Well, what to say...... I finally got back online last night and it's about time. I almost forgot how to type. heh. I have been busy and I still am. Halloween 06 was great, thanksgiving kinda sucked cause I had a favorite(family heirloom)knife I owned stolen out of my old house right under my nose by the friend of a co-worker who dropped by for a visit. I never got the knife back and I probably will never see it again. It really makes me sick how some people would steal flies from a blind spider if they could. Christmas was great b/c I got to move into my new house just in time to set up the tree and have Christmas with my family. New Years eve was laid back, but fun. I spent the evening with my wife, sister, and cousins at my new home just relaxing and having good food and wine. It was a really nice new years eve get-together. I got both Christmas and New Years on video ( as usual) and all-in-all, it was a good holiday season. Work slacked off this week and we got a full 3-day weekend out of it this weekend. sweeeeeeet. well thats about all for right now.

Ghostly Car Ad... Do you believe in ghost????
"Ghostly Car Ad... Do you believe in ghost????" on Google Video
Hey Folks,
This one is really wild, but make sure you read the info below before you view the video and turn up the volume if you can. This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon.

Watch the front end of the car closely as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road....Spooky!

Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen to the ad, you'll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. A little creepy but it seems to be authentic!

This is a demonstration of the XTREMA 2 Shotgun. This video is unbelievable. Notice that this gentleman is of southern heritage...... and rightly so, as we southerners are proud of our rich heritage of marksmanship. (Just alittle modesty there)
